I couldn't wait to see an ultrasound so I could have confirmation that you were really there. I remember me and your daddy went in the room and the doctor asks, "were we worried about you have multiples?" I answered yes, why??? She then turned the screen to me and said well you're having twins. I was in shock, are you sure, are you sure is all that could come out of my mouth. I was crying and your father was beaming from ear to ear. He was so happy and so was I but it was a lot of information to take in. After we left our appointment, we called your aunt Esther, Shelly, Keith, Kristin, and Casey. We were waiting until you got a little bigger to tell your grandparents.

The day we found out!
August 3, 2011
I had another restless night, much on my mind. It was 3 am and your daddy was sleeping. I had taken 2 other pregnancy tests earlier in the week which were negative but something told me to take one now. It was my last one and I really didn't expect it to be positive. It didn't have 2 lines instantly, it took it a couple of minutes which made me think it was going to be negative. I did some things in the kitchen and when I went back to the bathroom it was POSITIVE!!! I stood frozen, I didn't know whether to scream or do nothing. I have heard of false positives so I wasn't sure it was real. I decided to let myself get excited. I ran upstairs and woke up your daddy. I put the dipstick in his face and as he adjusted his eyes he asks me, "what is that?" I responded, "duh, it's postitive!!!" He then said, "congratulations, I'm so happy and fell back alseep." I then called your aunt Esther, it was about 1 am her time in Salt Lake City. I was so happy, I couldn't sleep until I as able to let Shelley and Casey know the good news.
